Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Some experience in a commercial kitchen as a dishwasher or kitchen assistant preferred but not required
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 30 pounds frequently
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform medium work
- Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, stoop, climb, and balance as required
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Loads, operates and unloads dishwashing machines and washes food preparation and serving equipment, utensils, pots, pans, etc
- Delivers and stores clean dishes and utensils to the proper storage area
- Cleans kitchen area, tables, cabinets, equipment, etc
- Disposes of trash and garbage
- Brings food deliveries to storage areas
- Assists in loading food trays on carts or trucks for delivery
- Maintains and cleans storage area and dining room areas
- Assists cooks in moving/lifting bulk food items, stockpots, trays, etc
- Performs related kitchen duties as required and assigned
