Job Requirements

Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to employees, dining room staff, and guests
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to six hours in length
Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc, up to 40 pounds in weight
Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication
Must possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
Kitchen staff generally offered as part time restaurant job
Full time opportunities are also available

Job Qualifications

Prior experience as cook, line cook, chef, prep cook, grill cook, or fry cook preferred but not required
Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player mindset
Basic math and reading skills

Job Duties

Complete all assigned prep work and set up cook's station
Maintain product presentations
Ensure product quality
Adhere to cook time standards
Prepare menu items according to recipes, plate presentations, and specifications
Support kitchen and dining room staff
Maintain cleanliness and organization in cook's area
