Labcorp is currently seeking a Kit Production Assistant V to join their Kit Production team in Indianapolis, IN. This is a rotating schedule position working from 6am to 6pm. The Kit Production Assistant role is vital in maintaining high standards of productivity and quality in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the assembly and preparation of diagnostic kits, working closely with various teams to ensure processes are followed accurately and efficiently. This role demands strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the physical capability to handle and move heavy materials. Candidates will work with high-speed equipment and be expected to adhere strictly to company policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The position involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive motions such as labeling containers and using computer terminals.

The Kit Production Assistant will be integral to maintaining audit trails for all activities performed, ensuring training files and requirements are kept up to date, and reporting any potential quality issues promptly to management. Job Qualifications

  • Two years kit production work experience
  • One year of shipping experience
  • High school diploma preferred
  • One year leadership experience preferred
  • Training or background in dealing with external customers preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications

Job Duties

  • Maintain high productivity standards and quality standards
  • Maintain training files and updated training requirements
  • Work well with team and good communication skills with staff
  • Move heavy material to restock areas and move product
  • Operate and understand high speed equipment
  • Adhere to all company training, policies, procedures and perform all departmental and interdepartmental SOPs as written
  • Generate audit trail of activities and maintain own training file and required documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow all safety measures
  • Stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions like labeling and computer use
  • Identify and resolve issues quickly, alert management as needed
