The Kids Events Team Member position at Life Time plays a crucial role in delivering an engaging, safe, and educational experience for children aged three to thirteen. This role involves leading groups of children through various fun-filled activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, and gym games, while integrating nutrition education into each session. It requires a positive, outgoing attitude and the ability to act as a role model who fosters a fun and safe environment. The Team Member is responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in the activity areas, ensuring safety regulations are followed, and promoting monthly events to boost participation and contribute to the growth and success of Life Time’s youth programming. The position demands flexibility including working evenings and weekends, as well as physical stamina and the ability to handle loud and dynamic environments. Moreover, certification in First Aid and CPR/AED is necessary to ensure readiness for any emergencies that could arise during activities. Job Duties
- Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games while maintaining a safe environment
- Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model
- Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers
- Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming in order to ensure safety
- Promotes monthly events and activities in order to increase participation and revenue
- Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the amount prearranged by the department budget
