The Kids Events Team Member role at Life Time is a dynamic and rewarding position focused on engaging children ages three to thirteen through a variety of fun and educational activities. This role is central to creating memorable experiences for children by leading activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, gym games, and themed events that incorporate nutrition education. The position demands a high level of enthusiasm, safety awareness, and the ability to serve as a positive role model. The Kids Events Team Member fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging participation, creativity, and healthy habits among young participants. This role is well suited for individuals who love working with children, enjoy creating engaging environments, and are committed to supporting child development through interactive and educational experiences.

Job Requirements

  • One year of related experience
  • First Aid certification required within the first 60 days of hire
  • Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
  • Ability to tolerate loud noises
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, use hands, objects, tools, or controls
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games while maintaining a safe environment
  • Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model
  • Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers
  • Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming in order to ensure safety
  • Promotes monthly events and activities in order to increase participation and revenue
  • Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the amount prearranged by the department budget
