As a company deeply rooted in creating joyful family experiences, CEC Entertainment focuses on combining great food, fun activities, and a welcoming atmosphere for kids and families to eat, play, and create lasting memories. Chuck E. Cheese, known widely for hosting over half a million birthdays annually, is celebrated as the place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®." Through innovative programs like Kid Check®, the company ensures top-tier safety and security while providing a vibrant environment for children to play freely. CEC Entertainment also demonstrates a strong commitment to the community by donating over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, the company embraces diversity, inclusion, and a culture of fun as essential aspects of its workforce and operational philosophy.

The Kid Check Attendant role at CEC Entertainment is a pivotal position focused on guaranteeing the safety and security of children while they enjoy their playtime. This role embodies the company's mission to allow kids the freedom to run and play while ensuring that all guests arrive and leave together safely. It is an entry-level position suitable for first-time job seekers or individuals seeking a vibrant and engaging career in family entertainment. Employees in this role are empowered and cross-trained in various functions to ensure exceptional service and operational efficiency. Furthermore, a significant portion of leadership at CEC comes from internal promotions, reflecting the company’s dedication to career development and growth opportunities.

This position also includes unique commission structures catering to different employment classifications—exempt employees earn commission potential ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 for each membership sale and $0.15 to $3.00 for each fun pass sold, while non-exempt employees can earn from $2.00 to $8.00 for memberships and $0.60 to $2.40 for fun passes. Commissions are paid out bi-weekly, supporting employees financially on a regular and reliable basis. Importantly, CEC Entertainment offers its renowned "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that ensures employees do not have to wait between paychecks, enhancing financial flexibility.

The work environment for Kid Check Attendants involves physical activity such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, demanding a level of physical fitness and endurance. Employees work in a lively atmosphere marked by flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises typical of entertainment centers. This role requires an energetic and enthusiastic personality combined with excellent customer service skills to create memorable experiences for guests of all ages.

CEC Entertainment also provides a competitive benefits package to support both part-time and full-time employees. These benefits include access to telemedicine, early wage access, 401(k) retirement plans, employee meal discounts, employee assistance programs, scholarships, tuition savings, and financial relief resources. Full-time employees receive comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage accompanied by paid sick and vacation time, holidays, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, legal coverage, and educational support. The company prioritizes safety and health with rigorous protocols designed to protect both employees and guests.

As a proud Equal Opportunity Employer, CEC Entertainment fosters an inclusive culture that celebrates diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
