The Event & Guest Services Manager at KFC Yum! Center plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of various events including concerts, athletic contests, family-oriented shows, conventions, and corporate gatherings. This position involves extensive coordination among multiple departments to ensure every aspect of the event runs smoothly, meeting the highest standards for guest experience and operational efficiency. Acting as the primary on-site contact during events, the manager oversees the preparation and real-time execution of event logistics, collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners, and handles any issues promptly to uphold service quality and client satisfaction. The role demands strong leadership and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to manage sensitive information and work flexibly across shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Highly organized with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Willingness to work events, multiple shifts, long hours, weekends and holidays
- Ability to move quickly throughout arena

Job Duties
- Serve as primary on-site point of contact for events
- Develop and coordinate event production notes and schedules
- Patrol venue to ensure readiness and address issues
- Collaborate with various departments including University of Louisville for NCAA games
- Work with Box Office and production to develop CAD drawings
- Collaborate with finance for cost estimates
- Compile and review MOD reports post-event
- Coordinate first aid staffing
- Create and submit staffing and cost plans
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints calmly
- Enforce venue security policies and document incidents
- Provide training and support to guest services and security staff
