Job Description
KBP Foods, a distinguished member of KBP Brands, stands as a prominent restaurant franchise group with a dynamic presence across the United States. Established with a clear vision to be a great place to work, a great place to eat, and a great place to own, KBP Foods has grown exponentially over the past two decades. With more than 1,000 restaurants spanning over 30 states, the company continues to expand, making it an exciting and forward-moving organization in the food service industry. KBP Foods is known for fostering an inclusive culture that nurtures personal and professional growth among its employees, making it an appealing choice for those looking to build a career in the restaurant sector.
This job opening is for the role of Shift Manager at one of KBP Foods' bustling KFC franchise locations situated at 1960 Gulf to the Bay, Clearwater, FL. The position is classified under General Manager career area, offering an hourly wage between $13 and $17. As a Shift Manager, you will be a vital part of the restaurant’s success, taking on responsibility for leading a dedicated team to deliver exceptional customer service. Your leadership will uphold operational excellence, ensuring that all restaurant activities align with KFC’s renowned standards and legacy. This role calls for enthusiasm in managing fast-paced food service operations and a passion for maintaining quality and customer satisfaction consistently.
In this leadership role, you will engage daily with team members, guide and motivate them throughout your shifts, and address any challenges that arise, fostering a positive work environment. Your expertise will help ensure smooth restaurant operations by managing scheduling, monitoring inventory, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering outstanding guest experiences. The company offers paid training to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this position, alongside access to benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance. Additionally, employees enjoy perks like free shift meals, employee discounts, paid time off, and educational benefits including GED completion assistance, college scholarships, and free online tuition. There is also an opportunity to contribute to and benefit from KBP Cares, the company's nonprofit supporting employees through unexpected hardships.
Candidates interested in joining the KBP Foods KFC franchise team should be prepared to commit to a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the food service industry. Physical stamina is essential as the role requires lifting and moving heavy objects, standing and walking for entire shifts, navigating compact spaces safely, and operating various forms of restaurant equipment. To thrive in this role, candidates should bring at least one year of supervisory experience in quick service or retail settings and must be at least 18 years old. The company provides a clear and accessible career path, encouraging advancement into Assistant Manager and Restaurant Manager roles for those who demonstrate leadership potential and commitment.
KBP Foods is dedicated to equal opportunity employment and thoroughly complies with federal, state, and local laws protecting job applicants from discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, national origin, color, religion, disability, military status, or any other protected characteristic. Employment offers are contingent upon a satisfactory background check and proof of employment eligibility. Candidates applying to this franchise position acknowledge that they are seeking employment with an independent business owner, not with KFC Corporation or its affiliates, which oversee corporate locations. KBP Foods values entrepreneurial spirit and invites motivated individuals to join their expanding team where opportunities for personal, professional, and financial growth abound.
