The role of Restaurant General Manager at KBP Foods is a critical leadership position offering an annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000. This role is suited for individuals who are passionate about managing restaurant operations, leading teams, and driving profitability while maintaining high standards of customer service and product quality. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant performance including cash control, security procedures, inventory management, labor scheduling, and financial reporting. They will lead recruitment, hiring, coaching, and training efforts to ensure a motivated and competent team. With an emphasis on operational excellence, the General Manager ensures every customer enjoys a clean restaurant environment and a friendly, positive dining experience.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment
  • Proven experience in managing profit and loss responsibilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience as a restaurant general manager in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility
  • Experience in quick service restaurant management preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic financial and inventory management knowledge

Job Duties

  • Drive profitability by managing cash control and security procedures, monitoring inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking action as needed
  • Recruit, interview and hire team members, shift managers and assistant general managers
  • Coach and train employees in operational excellence to ensure restaurant success
  • Conduct inventory counts every other week
  • Maintain a clean restaurant and ensure every guest enjoys a friendly experience with a quality product
