The Restaurant General Manager role at KBP Foods is a rewarding position within the fast-food industry, centered on leading one of the company’s growing KFC restaurants. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure profitability, operational excellence, and a quality guest experience. The general manager is responsible for managing financial aspects such as cash control, security procedures, inventory, labor, and reviewing financial reports to make strategic decisions that drive restaurant success.
In addition to operational management, the Restaurant General Manager plays a crucial leadership role by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, and training team members and assistant management staff. This position demands a hands-on approach to maintaining a clean, inviting environment where every customer receives friendly service and enjoys high-quality products. The position also includes important responsibilities such as conducting inventory counts biweekly and actively contributing to a safe and efficient workplace.

Job Requirements
- At least one year of experience as a restaurant general manager in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a restaurant general manager in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility
- Quick service experience preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to coach and develop team members
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive profitability by managing cash control and security procedures, monitoring inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking action as needed
- Recruit, interview and hire team members, shift managers and assistant general managers
- Coach and train employees in operational excellence to ensure restaurant success
- Conduct inventory counts every other week
- Maintain a clean restaurant and ensure every guest enjoys a friendly experience with a quality product
