The company is currently seeking a Restaurant General Manager to join their team at the location in Apex, North Carolina. This position offers an annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000, reflecting the significance of the leadership role and the responsibilities therein. As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be a vital part of the company’s success, responsible for managing all facets of restaurant operations and ensuring that business objectives are consistently met. This role demands an individual with strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to managing both staff and resources efficiently. You will be instrumental in driving profitability by overseeing cash control, inventory management, labor allocation, and financial performance review. The role also involves recruiting, training, and mentoring a motivated team including Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant General Managers, aiming to foster a collaborative environment focused on operational excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week
  • physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • stand and walk for entire shifts
  • safely maneuver through compact spaces
  • operate restaurant equipment
  • previous experience in restaurant management with profit and loss responsibility
  • basic understanding of financial reports and labor management

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience as a restaurant general manager in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility
  • quick service experience preferred
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to coach and develop team members
  • experience in managing financial and operational aspects of a restaurant
  • knowledge of inventory management and labor control

Job Duties

  • Drive profitability by managing cash control and security procedures
