This full-time position, located at 1006 Azalea Ave, Richmond, VA, offers an attractive salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 per year, along with eligibility to participate in a performance-based bonus program. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitability through effective management of cash control, security procedures, inventory, labor costs, and financial reporting. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, and training team members, shift managers, and assistant general managers to ensure operational excellence and exceptional customer service.

This management position requires a hands-on leadership style to maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment where guests enjoy quality products and friendly service. The role also involves conducting bi-weekly inventory counts and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment
  • Previous experience as a restaurant general manager in food service or retail
  • Ability to manage profit and loss responsibility

Job Duties

  • Drive profitability by managing cash control and security procedures, monitoring inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking action as needed
  • Recruit, interview and hire team members, shift managers and assistant general managers
  • Coach and train employees in operational excellence to ensure restaurant success
  • Conduct inventory counts every other week
  • Maintain a clean restaurant and ensure every guest enjoys a friendly experience with a quality product
