KBP Foods is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join their team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role is a full-time employment opportunity offering an annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000, reflecting the importance and responsibilities associated with managing a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Restaurant General Manager will be instrumental in driving the profitability and success of their assigned KFC location by overseeing multiple operational facets such as cash control, inventory management, labor scheduling, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will take pride in leading and coaching a diverse team, ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming experience complemented by quality food products. This position demands a hands-on approach to managing daily restaurant operations, including maintaining cleanliness, conducting biweekly inventory counts, and ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations. The General Manager will recruit, interview, and hire team members as well as assist in the development of shift managers and assistant managers.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week
- physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment
- previous management experience in a restaurant or retail environment
- commitment to upholding safety and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a restaurant general manager in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility
- quick service experience preferred
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- knowledge of restaurant operations and financial management
- excellent problem-solving abilities
- willingness to work flexible hours including closing the restaurant at least two nights a week
Job Duties
- Drive profitability by managing cash control and security procedures
