The role of Restaurant General Manager at KBP Foods offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to make a significant impact in the fast-food industry. This position is full-time with a competitive starting compensation range between $50,000 and $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will take on a leadership role responsible for driving the profitability and operational excellence of the restaurant. This involves managing key aspects such as cash control, inventory management, labor scheduling, and financial reporting. You will be pivotal in recruiting, hiring, and developing a strong team, including Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant General Managers. Coaching and training employees to uphold the highest standards of quality and customer service will be a core aspect of your duties.

This role also includes ensuring the restaurant environment remains clean and welcoming, guaranteeing every guest has a premium experience with high-quality products and friendly service. You will participate actively in conducting regular inventory counts and implementing strategies that ensure sustainable business growth. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week
  • physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces and operate restaurant equipment
  • previous experience as a restaurant general manager in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience as a restaurant general manager in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility
  • quick service experience preferred
  • ability to coach and train employees effectively
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions
  • experience in hiring and team development

Job Duties

  • Drive profitability by managing cash control and security procedures
  • monitor inventory
  • manage labor
  • review financial reports and take action as needed
  • recruit, interview and hire team members, shift managers and assistant general managers
  • coach and train employees in operational excellence to ensure restaurant success
  • conduct inventory counts every other week
  • maintain a clean restaurant and ensure every guest enjoys a friendly experience with a quality product
