Job Description

KFC, known worldwide for its iconic fried chicken and southern hospitality, is a respected leader in the fast-food industry with a vast network of restaurants. At our Garden Grove location on Harbor Boulevard, we are dedicated to not only feeding people but also enriching their lives. With a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and a rewarding work environment, KFC offers more than just a job - it's a place to grow, develop, and enjoy your career while making a tangible impact in the community. As part of the KFC family, employees experience a culture where integrity, energy, and teamwork come together to create exceptional service and dining experiences.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager role at our Garden Grove KFC is a dynamic and rewarding position designed for individuals who aspire to leadership within the fast-food restaurant business. As assistant manager, you will be second in command at a location that generates over $1 million in annual revenue, working closely with the Restaurant General Manager to drive business growth and ensure our customers consistently have a great experience. This role involves leading a team that prides itself on quality, hospitality, and efficiency. You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills through comprehensive training, learning how to manage operations, motivate staff, maintain high standards, and deliver delicious chicken with a smile.

This is an excellent chance for aspiring managers who want to run their own business someday but need the right foundation and mentorship to get started. KFC offers a supportive culture filled with opportunities for advancement, competitive rewards, and a work environment where having fun and forming friendships are encouraged. The position demands a passionate, energetic leader who cares about creating a positive workplace and is obsessed with making the customer’s day. From managing daily operations to coaching team members and contributing to marketing and sales strategies, the Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a crucial role in the success of the restaurant. We seek honest, motivational, and fun individuals who thrive on challenges in the fast-paced restaurant industry and are set on delivering excellence every day.

Applicants for this Assistant Restaurant Manager position must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation to support duties such as driving to make deposits, emphasizing the responsibility and trust placed in this role. The owner-operated franchised location means that while you will benefit from KFC’s legendary brand and training programs, your employer will be the franchisee who independently manages hiring decisions and employment conditions. Joining this team means committing to standards of fairness and equal opportunity regardless of race, gender, age, nationality, or other protected status. If you are ready to take the next step in your career and join a winning team dedicated to quality and growth, KFC invites you to apply and discover why Life Tastes Better with us.
