Job Description

KFC is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain famous for its world-class fried chicken and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a leader in the quick-service restaurant industry, KFC operates through independently owned and operated franchises, giving franchisees the flexibility to tailor the dining experience to their local communities while adhering to the brand's high standards. Each franchise operates as a standalone business, and thus, employment decisions and related matters are solely handled by the franchisee themselves. This structure allows for a personalized management approach that focuses on local customer needs and promotes community engagement.

The role available is for an Assistant Restaurant Manager position, an exciting opportunity for individuals aspiring to develop strong leadership skills within the food service industry. This position is ideal for those who want to manage their own business and take on responsibilities that come with overseeing a $1 million plus operation. The Assistant Restaurant Manager works closely with the Restaurant General Manager to drive business growth by ensuring customers receive outstanding service and delicious food served with genuine southern hospitality.

In this role, managers are pivotal in creating a positive environment for both customers and team members. Aspiring leaders will be trained comprehensively, so prior experience is less critical than motivation and the willingness to learn and grow. Managing a successful KFC location involves setting high standards of operational excellence, motivating the team, and making the restaurant a welcoming place for both employees and customers. The restaurant team thrives on energy, fun, and camaraderie, and the Assistant Manager contributes significantly to this vibrant culture by leading with enthusiasm and integrity.

Assistant Restaurant Managers are expected to be natural leaders with the ability to inspire and unify their team. The ideal candidate is energetic, honest, motivational, and enjoys the fast-paced restaurant environment. The workday is dynamic and varied, requiring a readiness to meet new challenges with confidence. This leadership role is about more than managing processes; it’s about creating a great workplace where team members enjoy their jobs and customers leave with smiles.

Candidates should be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license along with reliable transportation, enabling them to perform duties such as making bank deposits. KFC emphasizes the development of their employees, offering opportunities for growth within the restaurant and broader company. Employees can expect a culture that cherishes respect, learning, and dedication while rewarding hard work and commitment.

Joining KFC as an Assistant Restaurant Manager means being part of a winning team that makes a difference every single day in their community. If you are prepared to take up the challenge, learn new skills, and lead with passion, KFC provides the resources, training, and support necessary to succeed and thrive in this role.
