The Assistant General Manager role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities. You will be responsible for leading, scheduling, and mentoring your team to foster a positive and productive work environment. Ensuring excellent guest service, you will swiftly resolve any customer issues to guarantee a satisfying dining experience. Operational duties include managing inventory, cash handling, maintaining food quality standards, and enforcing safety and cleanliness protocols. You will also oversee cost management, including labor and food expenses, to maximize restaurant profitability. The role requires anticipating and overcoming challenges during shifts, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Candidates for this role should have at least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail, preferably with profit and loss responsibility in a quick-service restaurant environment. The position requires individuals to be at least 18 years old and have availability to close the restaurant at least two nights per week. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk throughout entire shifts, navigate compact spaces safely, and operate essential restaurant equipment.
