Job Requirements

Obtain and maintain current food handlers card
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays required
Ability to remain calm and focused in a high volume, deadline oriented work environment
Ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects
Ability to work long periods on feet including frequent walking, stair climbing and outdoor work
Ability to perform repetitive movements such as pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and stooping
Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
Ability to communicate clearly and cooperate with co-workers, managers, and customers
Willingness to work around various heat sources and sharp objects
Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
Ability to complete side work as directed by the manager

Job Duties

Expedite food from the kitchen to guests' tables in a timely and efficient manner
Bussing duties including clearing and resetting tables
Clearing unnecessary dishes from tables
Assisting with customer requests
Providing the bar with ice and clean glassware
Setting up and cleaning of the restaurant or outdoor areas
Maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant
Backing up wait staff
Sorting garbage and recycling
Maintaining positive customer relations
