Job Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality roles such as barista, server, or busser is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast for cashiering and order management
- Experience with bartending
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain sanitation standards in bar and seating areas
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of the food industry standards, including safety protocols related to food preparation and handling
- Hotel or nightclub experience is advantageous but not required
- Enthusiasm for hospitality is essential

Job Duties
- Support bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, and glassware quickly and efficiently during service
- Assist with brewing tasks and introducing the product to new customers to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including dishes and workstations in accordance with health standards
- Clear empty dishes to keep the venue tidy and ready for new guests
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for cash handling and order processing accurately
- Help set up and break down during events, ensuring all areas are clean and organized before and after events
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs in a lively kava bar hospitality environment
