This job opening is for the role of Restaurant Manager at Circle K, where the chosen candidate will be entrusted with the comprehensive management of the day-to-day operations of a Company-operated Restaurant. The Restaurant Manager position holds full responsibility for overseeing the entire business operation, including managing people, maintaining operational standards, and optimizing financial metrics to achieve profitability. Reporting directly to the Restaurant District Manager, the Restaurant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the restaurant adheres to brand quality, health regulations, and company standards to offer excellent guest service.

The role entails providing leadership and support to the team by coaching and correcting team members, recruiting and hiring new staff, and ensuring efficient onboarding processes. Maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment is paramount, which includes general housekeeping duties, delegating responsibilities, and following up on task completion. The Restaurant Manager must oversee food preparation and service in compliance with all health department and company regulations, ensuring product quality and safety at all times. Training and continual development of team members on brand standards and new product implementations are critical aspects of this role.

Financial accountability is a core component, requiring the manager to monitor cash flow, sales records, inventory controls, and complete necessary paperwork like inventory counts, cash counts, scheduling, and supply orders. The Restaurant Manager is also responsible for fostering a positive work culture by recognizing achievements, managing disciplinary processes, and coaching an Assistant Manager to ensure operational continuity. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner
  • coach and correct team members as necessary
  • recruit, interview, select, hire, and onboard all positions
  • maintain a clean restaurant environment by performing general housekeeping duties and delegating responsibilities
  • establish build to's and maintain the production management system
  • direct team to ensure all food items are prepared and served in accordance with brand, company, and health regulations
  • supervise and coach team members on food preparation and production management
  • ensure continuous training on brand and company standards
  • cascade information and maintain communication board
  • implement new brand campaigns and conduct product training
  • ensure product quality, food safety, and operational standards
  • monitor accuracy of cash, sales, and inventory records
  • communicate regularly with Restaurant District Manager
  • complete daily, weekly, and periodic paperwork and administrative duties
  • guarantee a safe environment for team members and guests by following safety laws and reporting facility issues
  • complete reports on incidents timely
  • manage financial and operational metrics for profitability
  • conduct team member check-ins and provide positive feedback
  • implement progressive discipline
  • train Assistant Manager for operational readiness
