This particular role is a part-time third shift position with weekend availability, designed for those who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. The Valet and Guest Service Ambassador acts as the face of the hotel during evening hours, greeting guests, assisting with luggage, parking vehicles safely and swiftly, and communicating with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Ambassadors are expected to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, engaging guests with authentic warmth, learning and using guests’ names, and fostering memorable connections that enhance guest loyalty. The position requires physical stamina, as ambassadors need to run, walk, and stand for extended periods, demonstrating enthusiasm and energy throughout their shift. Job Requirements
- Must be able to run, walk, and stand for upwards of 8 hours
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and engage with guests
- Available for third shift and weekend work
- Maintain professional appearance and personal grooming
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Willingness to follow all company policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Create a professional and welcoming atmosphere by posting up with proper posture in the motor lobby in view of guests
- Pause and engage each guest entering and exiting the hotel and create relationships by being curious and knowledgeable about their interests
- Extend a genuine welcome and gracious goodbye to each guest, always using their name
- Use proper verbiage with guests and follow all JW Marriott and AHC policies, procedures, and standards
- Pull and park cars swiftly while maintaining a cautious speed and showing guests their time is valued by running to and from each car
- Assist guests with their luggage by loading, unloading, and escorting them to their rooms
- Provide an engaging orientation of the hotel and surrounding area
- Ensure the hotel entrance area is clean, organized, and guest ready at all times
- Maintain consistent communication with other valets, doorman, and departments to ensure timely and flawless guest service
- Complete daily tasks on the shift checklist accurately and meet with next shift to pass along pertinent information
- Adhere to complete and proper uniform standards including name tag and griffin pin, arriving clean-shaven and well-groomed
- Possess extensive knowledge of the local area and provide directions to various destinations
- Expedite hotel safety and security procedures effectively
- Maintain knowledge of the property, staff, services, and operating hours
- Call taxis for guests as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
