The position requires in-person work, emphasizing direct guest interaction and efficient service delivery. Job Duties
- Set up, serve, and clean both on-premise and off-premise functions
- lift and carry trays weighing up to 30 pounds to and from dining areas
- set up, refresh, and service meeting rooms with refreshments and linens as needed
- clean up at the conclusion of meetings and events
- occasional assistance in setting up function rooms, which involves moving tables and chairs, either within a room or to another location
- pack, load, and unload catering vehicles
- work independently, exercise sound judgment, and exhibit initiative in performing daily duties
- complete opening and closing shift side work
- keep work areas and equipment clean and organized
- communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
- read and interpret event orders to determine set-up, service needs, and other duties the manager assigns
