Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment
  • Experience in chocolate work, room amenities, wedding cakes, and artistic pastry creation
  • Proven experience in supervising Pastry kitchen operations and maintaining high culinary standards
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations
  • Certification in Food Safety and HACCP

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment
  • Experience in chocolate work, room amenities, wedding cakes, and artistic pastry creation
  • GCC experience is preferred
  • Proven experience in supervising Pastry kitchen operations and maintaining high culinary standards
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations
  • Certification in Food Safety and HACCP

Job Duties

  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by delivering efficient, courteous, and attentive service that exceeds expectations
  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef to supervise all the section(s) of Pastry kitchen, ensuring all tasks are executed to the highest standards
  • Implement and monitor cost control measures, minimizing waste while maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Consistently evaluate food preparation and presentation to ensure high levels of quality, taste, and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards, including HACCP procedures
  • Monitor team members' grooming and professional conduct, providing coaching
