Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years experience in an upscale kitchen
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in kitchen areas

Job Duties

  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations including prep service and staff supervision
  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff (Chef de parties) during prep and service
  • Assist in managing inventory including ordering receiving and proper storage of ingredients
  • Ensure all health safety and sanitation standards are followed consistently across all kitchen stations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workspaces prep areas and storage
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to develop and enhance menu items
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold restaurant standards
