The role of Junior Sous Chef is a pivotal position within Lounges - Morro’s kitchen brigade, aimed at individuals who are enthusiastic about taking the next step in their culinary career. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation across 14 shifts. This role demands a hands-on approach to food prep, both hot and cold, coupled with strong adherence to hygiene practices and allergen management. You will be responsible for helping prepare the kitchen for service each day, assisting in executing dishes exactly as specified, and maintaining an environment conducive to producing consistently excellent culinary offerings.

- experience in a similar Junior Sous Chef or chef role
- ability to work at pace with limited supervision
- knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety regulations
