Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume or fine-casual restaurant
- Valid Food Handler Certificate
- Strong experience in grilling, steak cooking, and fire-based techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining sanitation and food safety standards
- Availability to work the required shifts in Miami, Florida
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume or fine-casual restaurant
- Strong experience in grilling, steak cooking, and fire-based techniques
- Confident working with live fire, high heat, and open kitchen environments
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and line execution
- Ability to stay clean, organized, and consistent under pressure
- Knowledge of portion control, food cost, and waste management
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Passion for learning modern grill techniques, meat craftsmanship, and fire cooking styles
- Ambition to grow within a young, dynamic, and highly motivated team
- Valid Food Handler Certificate required
Job Duties
- Run the grill and fire station with full responsibility and precision
- Execute steaks, meat cuts, barbecue-style items, and grilled fish to the highest standards
- Master control of fire, heat zones, and timing in a fast-paced service environment
- Maintain mise en place and station organization at all times
- Ensure strict FIFO, proper storage, labeling, and waste control
- Maintain sanitation standards in compliance with Florida Department of Health regulations
- Work efficiently under pressure during high-volume service
- Collaborate with all stations to ensure smooth and consistent service flow
- Support Senior Sous Chefs in the creation and development of new fire-based dishes
- Maintain full ownership of the station with consistency, discipline, and precision
