Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active during shifts
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify compliant)
  • Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
  • Passion for artisan pizza making and culinary excellence

Job Qualifications

  • Previous pizza-making or kitchen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of wood-fired oven cooking techniques is a plus
  • Strong communication skills for guest interaction
  • Ability to work effectively in high-energy, fast-paced environments
  • Experience in supervising or leading kitchen shifts is an advantage
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain ServSafe certification
  • Basic math skills for handling inventory and orders

Job Duties

  • Stretch, top, and cook pizzas to Vera Pizza Napoletana standards in a high-volume, wood-fired oven
  • Interface with guests in a high-energy, open-kitchen environment
  • Assist with prep, maintain strict food hygiene, and handle nightly clean-up
  • Oversee shift flow, manage oven temperatures, and support the team during peak hours
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and adhere to safety standards
  • Train junior staff on artisan pizza making techniques
  • Ensure inventory levels meet operational needs
