This role of Junior Cook at Sodexo is a full-time position located at HOPS - 68444003, offering weekday shifts including morning, afternoon, and evening schedules. The position pays between $20.70 and $21.70 per hour. As a Junior Cook, you will be at the heart of Sodexo’s food preparation team, contributing significantly to delivering nutritious dishes that bring both satisfaction and smiles to the customers you serve. While your primary responsibility will be handling the preparation of smaller quantities of quickly prepared food items like steaks, chops, cutlets, hamburgers, eggs, and salads, your role goes beyond cooking. You are expected to embody teamwork, uphold strict standards to reduce food waste, and prioritize customer service consistently.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of culinary or food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to work weekday shifts including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen tasks
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
