Job Description

Product Connections is a dynamic part of Acosta Group, one of the most trusted and innovative retail, marketing, and foodservice agencies in the industry. Acosta Group is renowned for its expertise in connecting consumers with brands through cutting-edge digital and traditional retail events, experiential marketing, sponsorship activations, and omnichannel shopper marketing strategies. With a strong presence supported by over 10,000 field experts and more than 150 corporate staff members, Acosta Group creates an inclusive and supportive culture that encourages employee growth, creativity, and meaningful career development. Product Connections specializes in delivering quality brand experiences by engaging consumers at crucial moments in their shopping journey, ensuring that products reach the right audience at the perfect time.

The available position is for a Part-Time Product Demonstrator within Product Connections, based at Crossmark Inc. This role’s salary range is competitive, set between $16.90 and $17.90 per hour, offering employees a rewarding experience while contributing to a company dedicated to innovation and excellence. The job involves preparing juices and specialty products, conducting product sampling and demonstrations, and supporting various aspects of product marketing within a retail environment.

As a Product Demonstrator, you will be responsible for setting up demonstration areas properly, preparing specialty food products safely, and ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations. This requires a high level of attention to detail to read and understand demonstration materials thoroughly and to follow safety guidelines when handling equipment and food items. This role requires physical endurance to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly, pushing machinery weighing between 50 to 600 pounds, and standing for extended periods. The ability to work with sharp utensils, operate production machinery, and maintain a sterile, safe work environment is fundamental to the role.

You will be required to engage directly with customers, delivering product information effectively through demonstrations and sampling to boost brand visibility and sales. Regular communication with supervisors through email and reporting systems is crucial to stay informed about event schedules, program changes, and compliance requirements. Completion of certifications and additional training sessions will be part of your ongoing development to ensure the highest standards of food safety and product knowledge are maintained.

Working in a retail store environment means you will regularly interact with co-workers, management, and customers in a setting that can be moderately noisy and may expose you to diverse conditions such as refrigerated environments and cleaning chemicals. While English proficiency is required, bilingual skills may be beneficial depending on business needs. This position offers no supervisory responsibilities, focusing on individual contribution and teamwork through assistance in event setup, teardown, and kitchen duties as needed.

Joining Product Connections means becoming part of a forward-thinking organization that prioritizes collaboration, diversity, and employee empowerment. The company is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities and encourages applicants to reach out for support if necessary. Acosta Group also ensures legal compliance through tools like E-Verify to validate work eligibility in the United States, fostering a fair and transparent hiring process.

In summary, this part-time role is ideal for candidates with prior experience in product marketing, demonstrations, or related food and beverage industries looking to grow within a supportive, innovative marketing agency. It is a role that marries physical activity with customer engagement, compliance with creativity, and offers an exciting opportunity to impact brand success directly.
