The Juice and Specialty Products Preparation Specialist role at Product Connections is an essential position focused on preparing juice and other specialty food and beverage products for purchase and demonstration in retail settings. This role demands a high level of attention to detail and adherence to safety and food handling guidelines to ensure all products are presented in compliance with health and safety standards. The specialist will be responsible for setting up and preparing the designated area for product demonstrations, fully understanding and following all instructions and requirements that accompany product demos, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

Key responsibilities include adhering to proper food preparation techniques, operating equipment safely, following cleaning and maintenance protocols, and assisting teammates in event setup and cleanup. The role also involves conducting food sampling and demonstration events to engage customers and promote products effectively. Attention to detail is critical, including accurately completing all reporting requirements and staying updated with event schedules, corporate news, and supervisor instructions via regular communication.

Candidates for this role should be comfortable with physical demands such as lifting heavy items, pushing equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in varying temperature environments including cold storage and near hot machinery. Additionally, the ability to read and understand safety and preparation instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and customers is essential. This position requires the completion of state and local food safety certification or licensing, alongside hands-on product demo experience. While no supervisory responsibilities are included, this role requires collaboration and excellent teamwork skills within a retail environment characterized by moderate to high noise levels.
