This role is a full-time position based within a retail environment, responsible for preparing specialty products such as juices and other food items for customer purchase. The position requires an individual with a commitment to following safety protocols, food handling procedures, and maintaining cleanliness standards. The employee will set up and prepare areas for demonstrations and special product presentations, ensuring all equipment is used safely and effectively. Attention to detail is fundamental as the role involves reading and understanding program instructions, production requirements, and compliance guidelines thoroughly to provide accurate and compelling in-store experiences.
The individual in this role will conduct product demonstrations and food sampling to engage customers and support marketing efforts. This includes complete setup and teardown for events and adherence to all safety and compliance standards regarding machine operation, cleaning, and food preparation. Physical demands include lifting heavy items, pushing machinery, standing for extended periods, and working in varied environmental conditions such as refrigerated and hot areas.
Associates will be expected to be adaptable and assist teammates with event setup, cleanup, and other kitchen duties as necessary. Certification requirements include applicable local or state food safety licenses and the ability to complete additional training sessions as needed to maintain high standards of safety and compliance. The work environment is dynamic, often noisy, and highly interactive with customers, coworkers, and management teams. Bilingual skills may be beneficial depending on business needs.
Overall, this position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, supportive agency with a robust infrastructure and commitment to employee growth. This role not only supports the marketing objectives of Product Connections but also provides essential contributions to delivering a positive customer experience in retail settings.
