The Juice and Specialty Product Specialist role is responsible for preparing juice and other specialty products for purchase, supporting product marketing through demonstrations and sampling. This position requires setting up and preparing specialized food product areas, following material instructions for product demonstrations, and ensuring all safety guidelines are strictly adhered to when using equipment such as hot machinery or sharp blades. The role also involves safe lifting techniques for handling boxes and heavy merchandise. Candidates must follow food safety protocols for preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal. Accurate completion of reporting and maintaining communication about upcoming events, corporate news, and supervisor requests are essential. The specialist must complete certifications, attend required training sessions, and maintain a clean, sterile, and safe working area using the proper chemicals and equipment. Teamwork is important, as is assisting with event set-up, clean-up, and kitchen duties. The position requires conducting food sampling and demonstrations to promote business needs while following general set-up and teardown guidelines. This role operates in a retail store environment with moderate to high noise levels and exposure to varying temperatures and cleaning chemicals. The candidate must be physically able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly, push heavy wheeled equipment weighing up to 600 pounds, handle sharp tools, and stand for extended periods. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, with bilingual abilities considered a plus. This position requires flexibility in work hours and a commitment to safety, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness and compliance. There are no supervisory responsibilities tied to this role, but it offers the chance to develop valuable skills in product marketing and experiential retail interaction.
