The Juice and Specialty Products Preparation Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks geared towards supporting product marketing efforts on the retail floor. Key responsibilities include setting up and preparing the area to safely and effectively showcase and prepare specialty products for purchase. This involves reading product materials thoroughly to understand the specific program scope, production requirements, and compliance instructions. The role demands strict adherence to safety protocols when handling machinery such as hot equipment or sharp blades, and when physically managing merchandise, including proper lifting techniques.

The associate must follow food safety and handling standards meticulously, covering food preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal tasks. Accurate and timely completion of all reporting requirements, including online reporting, is a critical element of this job. Regular communication via email about event schedules, corporate updates, and supervisor instructions ensures the associate remains informed and responsive to changes and requirements.

Training and certification requirements are integral to this position. The associate is expected to complete relevant certifications and attend special training sessions to maintain compliance and competence in all aspects of the role. Beyond technical skills, the position requires maintaining a clean and sterile work environment, utilizing appropriate chemicals and equipment for sanitation, and assisting teammates with event setups, cleanups, or kitchen duties as needed.

The role also demands active participation in product demonstrations and sampling events, providing customers with direct exposure to the products and supporting overall business objectives. All setup and teardown activities must follow outlined guidelines to ensure efficiency and safety.
