This role is part of the Product Connections division, which specializes in connecting products to the right target consumers through effective marketing initiatives and product demonstrations.

The position being offered is responsible for preparing juice and other specialty food and beverage products that are intended for purchase. The role focuses on delivering high-quality product preparation and ensuring that all demonstrations and sampling events are effectively executed to promote brand awareness and consumer engagement. Candidates for this role will engage closely with retail environments to set up, prepare, and demonstrate specialized food products, adhering strictly to safety, food handling, and compliance standards. The role demands the ability to safely and efficiently handle equipment, machinery, and food products, as well as the physical capability to manage tasks such as lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working in varying environmental conditions including refrigerated and heated areas. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on following operational procedures, maintaining sanitary conditions, accurately completing reporting requirements, and communicating effectively with management, coworkers, and customers.

This position requires a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual capable of managing the physical and operational demands of a retail-based food demonstration setting. Employees will be expected to stay informed about product event schedules, corporate updates, and training certifications to remain compliant and effective in their role. While no supervisory responsibilities are involved with this position, it requires consistent interaction with team members and customers within a moderate to high noise retail warehouse environment. The role prioritizes safety, compliance, and excellence in food product demonstrations, contributing to the overall customer experience and success of marketing programs. Candidates with previous experience in product marketing, demonstrations, or food and beverage industries are preferred. The ability to communicate clearly in English is required, and bilingual skills may be a benefit based on business needs. Job Requirements

  • Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
  • Ability to continuously lift a minimum of 50 lbs. several times per day
  • Ability to push a wheeled machine (with weight ranges 50-600 lbs.) to/from the sales floor
  • Ability to prepare foods using produce, machinery and sharp utensils
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time each day
  • Ability to work varied hours throughout the day as required
  • Ability to climb with use of a 6’ step stool when necessary
  • Visual ability to read instructions to ensure safety and food safety compliance
  • Ability to work in environments with exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions and hot equipment
  • Ability to sit, stand, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and/or other peripherals
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas orally and in writing so others will understand
  • Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person and interact with customers

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations or in the food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred
  • Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products for purchase
  • Ability to conduct demonstrations and sampling events of other products as needed
  • Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity

Job Duties

  • Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
  • Fully read materials that accompany product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements and program compliance
  • Follow all safety requirements when using equipment (e.g., hot machinery or sharp blades). Practice proper lifting techniques when working with boxes or heavy merchandise
  • Adhere to all required tasks and procedures related to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal
  • Accurately complete all reporting requirements (including on-line requirements) as required
  • Regularly check the product event schedule and email for upcoming activities, corporate news updates, event changes and instructions, and supervisor requests
  • Complete certifications and attend special training sessions as required
  • Follow safety and compliance guidelines for appropriate machine operation, cleaning and maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Assist other teammates with event set-up or clean-up and/or with kitchen duties when needed
  • Conduct food sampling and demonstrations in support of the needs of business
  • Follow general set-up and teardown guidelines
