This role focuses on the preparation and presentation of juice and other specialty products intended for purchase within a retail environment. The Juice and Specialty Products Specialist will be responsible for safely and effectively preparing these products, conducting product demonstrations, and supporting sampling events. This position requires familiarity with food safety standards, including applicable state and local certifications or licenses. The ideal candidate has prior experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or work experience within the food, beverage, or restaurant sector. Physically, the role involves handling heavy equipment and performing tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly, pushing wheeled machinery weighing between 50 and 600 lbs, and standing for extended periods. Working hours may vary according to event schedules, and candidates must be comfortable operating in environments with cold, refrigerated, and hot equipment exposure. Essential duties include setting up preparation areas, reading and following detailed product demonstration materials, adhering to food handling safety protocols, completing reporting requirements, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Additionally, this position demands effective communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers, the ability to operate various kitchen machinery safely, and compliance with regulatory standards to deliver high-quality product presentations. No supervisory responsibilities are required. The working environment is a retail store setting characterized by moderate to high noise levels found in retail warehouse environments and exposure to cleaning chemicals and food products. Proficiency in English is essential, and bilingual skills may be required depending on business needs.
