Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous relevant experience in product preparation or marketing preferred
- Must hold applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to push wheeled equipment weighing up to 600 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods and work varied hours including use of a 6-foot step stool
- Strong visual ability to read and follow safety and operational instructions
- Ability to operate computer peripherals for reporting
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Willingness to work in environments with exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions and hot equipment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or food, beverage, or restaurant industry preferred
- Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products for purchase
- Ability to conduct demonstrations and sampling events as needed
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs multiple times daily
- Ability to push wheeled machinery weighing between 50 to 600 lbs
- Physical capability to work in cold, refrigerated conditions and operate machinery with sharp utensils
- Excellent communication skills in English, bilingual skills a plus
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- Fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements and compliance
- Follow all safety requirements when using equipment including hot machinery or sharp blades
- Practice proper lifting techniques when working with heavy merchandise
- Adhere to all required tasks related to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal
- Accurately complete all reporting requirements including online reporting
- Regularly check product event schedule and email for updates and supervisor requests
- Complete certifications and attend special training sessions as required
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning and maintenance
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist other teammates with event set-up or clean-up and kitchen duties as needed
- Conduct food sampling and demonstrations to support business needs, following set-up and teardown guidelines
