Job Requirements
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations or food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs several times per day
- Ability to push wheeled machines weighing 50-600 lbs
- Ability to work varied hours throughout the day
- Ability to use sharp utensils and operate production machinery safely
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to climb using a 6' step stool when necessary
- Visual ability to read instructions and safety information
- Ability to work in cold, refrigerated conditions as well as in proximity to hot equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to complete required certifications and training
- No supervisory responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or food, beverage, or restaurant industry
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- Ability to safely prepare juice and specialty products for purchase
- Ability to conduct food sampling and product demonstration events
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read and understand instructions to ensure safety and compliance
- Ability to work in a retail store environment with moderately high noise levels
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for reporting and communication
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare area for specialized food products
- Fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements, and compliance
- Follow all safety requirements when using equipment such as hot machinery or sharp blades
- Practice proper lifting techniques when handling boxes or heavy merchandise
- Adhere to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal procedures
- Complete all reporting requirements accurately, including online submissions
- Regularly check product event schedules, emails for updates, event changes, and supervisor requests
- Complete certifications and attend special training sessions as required
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist teammates with event setup, cleanup, or kitchen duties as needed
- Conduct food sampling and demonstrations to support business needs
- Follow general setup and teardown guidelines
