In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing juice and other specialty food products for purchase, demonstrating a keen attention to safety, quality, and customer engagement. This position involves setting up and preparing the area for specialized food products, ensuring all safety protocols are followed when operating equipment such as hot machinery and sharp blades, and practicing proper lifting techniques when handling heavy merchandise. The role requires adherence to all food handling procedures including preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal. The individual will need to complete accurate reporting, review event schedules regularly, and respond promptly to updates and supervisor requests.

This job demands the ability to conduct product sampling and demonstrations to support business initiatives effectively, following all set-up and teardown guidelines. Maintaining a clean, sterile, and safe work environment is critical, including the use of proper cleaning chemicals and equipment. Teamwork is essential, as candidates will also assist teammates with event set-up, clean-up, and kitchen duties as needed. Special training sessions and certifications must be completed to stay compliant with food safety standards and operational protocols.

Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds multiple times daily, push wheeled machines weighing between 50 to 600 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments with exposure to cold and hot equipment. The role requires visual acuity to read instructions for safety, strong communication skills, and the capacity to interact effectively with customers and coworkers. This position does not hold supervisory responsibilities but operates within a retail store environment characterized by moderate to high noise levels and ongoing interaction with management and team members.

Candidates should possess previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or within the food, beverage, or restaurant industries. Applicable state and local food safety certifications or licenses are required to ensure adherence to local regulations and standards.
