Job Description

Product Connections is a part of the Acosta Group, a leading collective of trusted retail, marketing, and foodservice agencies. Acosta Group focuses on reimagining how brands connect with consumers throughout their shopping journey, leveraging a combination of digital and traditional retail events, experiential marketing, sponsorship activations, and omnichannel shopper marketing. With over 10,000 experts in the field and more than 150 corporate employees, the organization prides itself on fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment that supports employee growth and innovation. Product Connections specializes in product marketing and in-store demonstrations that bring specialty food and beverage products directly to consumers, enhancing brand engagement and driving sales.

The role of Product Demonstrator is vital to the success of Product Connections and the Acosta Group. This position primarily involves preparing juice and other specialty food products for purchase while conducting product demonstrations and sampling events that engage customers and promote products effectively. The Product Demonstrator must ensure that all preparation and presentation activities adhere strictly to safety and food handling regulations. This includes maintaining a clean and safe work area, using equipment according to safety guidelines, and following all required procedures related to food preparation, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal.

The individual in this role will be responsible for setting up and preparing demonstration areas, attending training and certification sessions, completing accurate reporting, and collaborating with team members for event setups and cleanups. Physical demands are significant in this position, requiring the ability to lift heavy items repeatedly, push equipment weighing 50 to 600 pounds, and stand for extended periods. The work environment is typically a retail store, with exposure to varying noise levels, refrigerated and hot conditions, and cleaning chemicals. Bilingual skills may be advantageous but are dependent on business needs.

This temporary role offers a unique opportunity for individuals with experience in product marketing or the food and beverage industry who are looking to engage directly with customers and contribute to innovative marketing strategies. The position requires a state or local food safety certification and ability to comply with all health and safety standards. Acosta Group emphasizes reasonable accommodations to support employees with disabilities, ensuring a diverse and accessible workplace. The salary and employment type are competitive and posted in line with industry standards at the time of the job listing. The group also participates in the E-Verify program to confirm employment eligibility within the United States.

Joining Product Connections means becoming part of a dynamic marketing agency where your contributions directly influence brand success and consumer engagement. Employees are encouraged to think creatively, develop new skills, and grow within the company’s supportive culture. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a hands-on position in a fast-paced retail marketing environment, with opportunities to collaborate on meaningful projects that make an impact in the retail and foodservice industries.
