Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations or related food, beverage or restaurant industry experience preferred
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs multiple times daily
- Ability to push wheeled machines weighing 50-600 lbs
- Ability to use machinery and sharp utensils safely
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work varied hours as required
- Ability to climb using a 6' step stool when necessary
- Visual ability to read instructions for safety and compliance
- Ability to work in cold, refrigerated conditions and near hot equipment
- Good communication skills in English
- Bilingual skills a plus based on business need
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations or the food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred
- Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products
- Ability to conduct demonstrations and sampling events of other products
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- Fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand scope and instructions
- Follow all safety requirements when using equipment
- Practice proper lifting techniques when handling boxes or heavy merchandise
- Adhere to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal procedures
- Accurately complete all reporting requirements including online forms
- Regularly check product event schedules and emails for updates and instructions
- Complete certifications and attend special training sessions as needed
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning and maintenance
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist teammates with event set-up, clean-up or kitchen duties when needed
- Conduct food sampling and demonstrations supporting business needs
- Follow general set-up and teardown guidelines
