Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or food, beverage, or restaurant industry preferred
- applicable state and local food safety certification or license required
- ability to continuously lift a minimum of 50 lbs several times per day
- ability to push wheeled machines weighing 50-600 lbs
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to use a 6-foot step stool when necessary
- visual ability to read instructions for safety and food compliance
- ability to work in refrigerated and hot equipment environments
- effective communication skills in English
- ability to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands to operate computer via keyboard and mouse
- ability to interact with customers
- willingness to work varied hours
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or food, beverage, or restaurant industry preferred
- applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or specialty products for purchase
- ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- proficiency in operating food preparation equipment
- ability to work varied hours
- basic computer skills for completing online reporting
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope and production requirements
- follow all safety requirements when using equipment such as hot machinery or sharp blades
- adhere to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal procedures
- accurately complete reporting requirements including online submissions
- regularly check product event schedule, email updates, and supervisor requests
- complete certifications and attend special training sessions as required
- follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning, and maintenance
- maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work area using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment
- assist teammates with event setup, cleanup, and kitchen duties when needed
- conduct food sampling and demonstrations in support of business needs
- follow general setup and teardown guidelines
