The position of Food and Beverage Supervisor at Flik Hospitality Group involves supervising and participating in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in alignment with the company’s high standards. This role requires a leader who can ensure that food is prepared and presented with attention to sanitation, safety, and portion control. The supervisor must be capable of assuming responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef, overseeing all kitchen operations to maintain smooth and efficient service. Communication is a key aspect of this role, as the supervisor engages with customers to describe menu items, resolve concerns, and relay feedback to the appropriate teams within the organization.

Additional responsibilities include assisting in menu planning and ordering, using approved recipes and production standards to uphold quality and consistency, and managing kitchen associates by assigning work and facilitating timely service delivery. Regular inspections related to food preparation, cleanliness, safety, and staff performance are integral to the role, ensuring that the kitchen meets or exceeds operational expectations. Job Duties

  • Oversees and participates in preparation and service of food and beverage items while meeting standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control
  • Assumes responsibility for kitchen in absence of Executive Chef

  • Helps with menu planning and ordering following company programs and initiatives
  • Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures and portion control
  • Assigns duties to associates for efficient kitchen operation and timely meal service
  • Conducts inspections of food preparation, cleanliness, sanitation, equipment and associates
  • Supervises and participates in service of food and beverage orders ensuring exemplary customer service
  • Trains, schedules, assigns and directs kitchen associates
  • Conducts pre-shift meetings
  • Participates in performance management including appraisals and disciplinary actions
