As a Jr. Field Service Engineer at Baker Hughes, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and support of Waygate Technologies’ industrial x-ray systems and related equipment. Your responsibilities will include standard maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of complex equipment at Waygate sites and customer locations. The Jr. Field Service Engineer position is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and field service work. You will be actively involved in ensuring the operational efficiency of high-tech inspection systems by maintaining and repairing critical components like x-ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high voltage control circuits, motion control systems, and high-end PCs. Alongside technical duties, you will provide vital customer support through phone and onsite service interactions, ensuring customer satisfaction from start to finish with timely reporting and administrative duties.

The role demands a proactive approach to safety and quality standards during work scope execution, demonstrating attention to detail and responsibility for both yourself and the client environment.
