Job Description

Pechanga Resort Casino is a premier destination located in Southern California known for its luxury accommodations, extensive gaming options, and exceptional dining experiences. As one of the largest and most prestigious resort casinos in the region, Pechanga Resort Casino prides itself on delivering outstanding service to its guests across all departments, including its renowned dinner houses. The resort operates with a dedication to maintaining a Four Diamond commitment to guest service, ensuring each visitor experiences quality, comfort, and hospitality throughout their stay.

The role of Busser at Pechanga Resort Casino is an integral part of the dining service team. Bussers serve as the vital secondary line of support within the dinner houses, working closely with servers to enhance the overall guest experience. This position is essential for maintaining smooth operations during busy dining periods and upholding the high standards for which the resort is known. Bussers interact both directly and indirectly with guests, providing attentive service that significantly contributes to guest satisfaction.

In this role, Bussers are responsible for a variety of duties that ensure the cleanliness, readiness, and comfort of the dining tables. This includes clearing tables promptly once guests have finished their meals, removing soiled china, glassware, and silverware throughout the meal, and resetting tables according to the standards set by management. Additionally, Bussers maintain continuous water service and provide bread service to each table as specified by the outlet’s menu. These responsibilities support servers by allowing them to focus on delivering personalized service while the Bussers attend to the physical upkeep and readiness of the dining area.

Bussers at Pechanga Resort Casino also function as ambassadors for guests, fostering a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. They communicate guests’ needs to servers, assist with small duties to enhance the dining experience, and ensure guests receive warm greetings and farewells. This role requires individuals who are personable, take direction well, and can adapt to the dynamic environment of a high-end dining facility. Bussers must be knowledgeable about the menu offerings and resort amenities, contributing to a seamless and pleasant guest experience from entry to exit.

The position requires a commitment to safety, responsibility, and quality service. While Bussers do not have supervisory roles, they play a crucial part in protecting the assets of Pechanga Resort Casino and maintaining the integrity of the service environment. To fulfill this position, candidates must meet specific licensing and certification requirements, including qualifications for a Class B gaming license, Food Handlers Certificate, and Tips Certification. Additionally, successful Bussers complete various service-related training classes within their first 90 days of employment, emphasizing the resort’s dedication to development and excellence in service.

Joining Pechanga Resort Casino as a Busser offers the chance to be part of a prestigious team that values professionalism, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. The role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to build a career in hospitality and gain experience working for a nationally recognized resort and casino. This position not only provides foundational skills in service and hospitality but also places employees in a vibrant, fast-paced environment where exceptional guest service is a shared goal across all departments.
