Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in event management or coordination
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work part-time on-site in Boston, MA
  • willingness to adapt to flexible event schedules including evenings and weekends
  • basic computer proficiency
  • ability to handle physical aspects of event setup and supervision

Job Qualifications

  • event management and coordination experience including planning and overseeing event logistics
  • leadership skills with ability to collaborate effectively in team settings
  • vendor and client relationship management experience
  • strong time management, organizational, and budgeting skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • coordinate with clients to understand their vision and requirements
  • manage event logistics including scheduling and vendor coordination
  • liaise with vendors and on-site staff to ensure smooth event execution
  • supervise events on-site to oversee service quality and operations
  • troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly during events
  • collaborate with catering team to align event delivery with client expectations
  • manage budgets and adhere to strict timelines
