Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid Food handler’s card mandatory
- valid OLCC card for 18 and older mandatory
- prior experience in coffee shop or sandwich shop preferred
- physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, twist, and lift at least 20 pounds regularly
- physical ability to climb stairs
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to operate point of sales system and professional cooking equipment
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to perform essential job functions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- possession of a valid Food handler’s card
- possession of a valid OLCC card (for candidates 18 and older)
- prior experience in a similar environment such as a coffee shop or sandwich shop preferred
- excellent customer service and decision-making skills
- ability to operate point of sales systems and professional cooking equipment including knives, espresso machines, blenders, and ovens
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, members, and staff
- ability to perform the essential job functions
Job Duties
- Provide enthusiastic, prompt, and positive service to members, guests, and employees
- maintain a friendly, professional attitude and work collaboratively with the team
- prepare and serve food and beverages including espresso drinks, smoothies, deli items, and hot foods according to standards
- ensure accurate transactions and membership verification
- uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards including dishwashing and waste disposal
- restock supplies, rotate products, and communicate with the kitchen team regarding inventory
- follow safety policies and proper food handling procedures
- complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
- maintain equipment and supplies to prevent damage or waste
- serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with OLCC guidelines
- demonstrate reliability through regular attendance and adherence to timing standards
