As a restaurant focused on providing extraordinary guest experiences, the organization supports its employees with opportunities for personal and professional development, comprehensive benefits, and a rewarding workplace culture.
The AGM oversees the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service delivery and supporting the overall strategic vision. This role demands a professional who is results-driven and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to manage all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staff hiring, supervision, and development. By teaching and coaching hourly staff on maintaining the restaurant's service, food, and beverage standards, the AGM plays a pivotal role in achieving consistent operational excellence.
The Assistant General Manager also champions a culture of growth and internal mobility, nurturing talent within the team and promoting a positive work environment centered on celebration and appreciation. Leadership in training at all levels is another cornerstone of the position, ensuring that high standards are met every day. Operationally, the AGM is responsible for executing the restaurant's operational vision and core principles, setting and enhancing operational standards and processes, and effectively managing day-to-day challenges related to the facility, personnel, and equipment.
This position requires clear and calm communication skills, a personable and approachable management style, and the ability to handle conflict resolution effectively. Adaptability and flexibility are crucial, as the AGM must be capable of assuming the roles of individual contributor, team player, and leader simultaneously. Upholding a proactive approach to anticipate future needs and demonstrating expert-level follow-through skills are essential traits for success in this role.
The company offers a competitive compensation package that rewards performance and dedication. Benefits include a monthly EBITDA-based bonus, 401K with employer contribution, comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and life insurance plans, opportunities for personal and professional growth, paid time off, sick days, and complimentary dining privileges.
