Using the EPIC patient transport system is an integral part of the job to maintain accurate patient logistics.

Valet and parking services are a prominent aspect of this position, requiring personnel to park and retrieve vehicles safely, manage traffic flow efficiently, and assist patients and visitors with vehicle-related challenges like flat tires and dead batteries. The role demands a proactive approach to maintaining safety and cleanliness in hospital parking areas and entrances, including snow and ice removal during winter months. Coordinating with parking services and security teams, Transporters help enforce parking policies and respond to emergencies involving traffic and vehicle accidents within hospital grounds.

The position requires a valid Utah driver’s license and completion of the RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential shortly after hire, emphasizing the commitment to safety and compliance standards.
