Job Description

Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) is a community-based, private non-profit organization operating under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services. Serving Alameda and Contra Costa counties, RCEB provides essential intake, assessment, diagnosis, and coordination of community-based services for over 25,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities. As one of 21 regional centers statewide, RCEB plays a critical role in ensuring individuals with developmental disabilities receive the necessary supports to live full and integrated lives within their communities. Our vision is that all persons with developmental disabilities live in typical communities where they have access to the supports and services they need to succeed, whether it's living with family members or independently, attending neighborhood schools, working, volunteering, or developing meaningful relationships.

RCEB is currently hosting two on-site Case Manager job fairs at their San Leandro and Concord offices, providing qualified candidates the opportunity to interview for full-time Case Manager positions. These events will allow applicants to engage directly with hiring teams and gain insights into the role and organization. Successful candidates will start employment on either September 14, 2026, or October 12, 2026, depending on personal preference and completion of the pre-employment process.

The Case Manager role at RCEB is integral to delivering on the organization's mission to support individuals with developmental disabilities. Case Managers are responsible for managing the complete case management process, which includes assessment, evaluation, planning, authorization of services, advocacy, and ongoing monitoring. They facilitate the development and implementation of Individual Program Plans (IPP) or Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP), coordinate community services and natural supports, and advocate to ensure consumers receive all entitled services and benefits.

With a starting salary range for Case Manager I from $68,160.82 to $100,704.50 annually and for Case Manager II from $70,886.40 to $104,731.64 annually, the positions offer competitive compensation. Candidates without prior experience with RCEB will start at the base of these scales. Spanish fluency is highly preferred and qualifies for a salary differential. The job requires strong communication skills, cultural awareness, a valid driver’s license, and an ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

RCEB offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision plans, generous paid time off including vacation, sick days, and holidays, retirement plans, student loan forgiveness program eligibility, flexible and work-at-home schedules where applicable, and employee assistance programs that cover mental health care. The organization practices equal employment opportunity, valuing diversity and inclusivity.

This position is full-time and requires work attendance in person. The role is ideal for candidates passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities while working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The Case Manager contributes directly to enhancing consumer independence, safety, and quality of life through thoughtful service coordination and advocacy.
