The role of the General Manager is pivotal in steering the restaurant towards achieving business objectives while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Job Duties

  • Cover 100% of shifts with MICs capable of running great shifts
  • Cover 100% of the shifts with adequate staffing in all key positions
  • Active succession plan for key positions including GM, AGM, SL, TT
  • Ensure fair and equal treatment of all employees and address concerns promptly
  • Teach and delegate recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluation processes
  • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws and company policies
  • Understand and control inventory and labor KPIs to expectations
  • Follow up daily on sales, COS and COL variances
  • Verify and sign off on weekly and period end inventories and payroll for accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and correct COS, COL and operational variances
  • Deliver attentive, hospitable and quick customer service on all shifts
  • Maintain good food quality and clean, sanitary environment on all shifts
  • Consistently raise the bar for group and brand standards
  • Maintain exterior and interior grounds and facilities
  • Enforce safety rules and respond to safety concerns with urgency
  • Work a minimum 50-hour week including nights, weekends and holidays
